Big ideas, big imaginations, and a day with real structure

OUR PRESCHOOL PROGRAM•3 TO 4 YEARS

By this age, children are full of their own ideas about what they want to make, ask, and figure out, and our Preschool room is built to channel that energy into real learning. The day follows an intentional rhythm, with dedicated time for art, hands-on science, early reading and math, group activities, and purposeful play, all guided by a curriculum designed to get your child ready for kindergarten. This is also the year we begin venturing beyond the classroom, with field trips and weekly chapel that broaden your child's world. That blend of structure and discovery helps your child grow more curious, more capable, and more confident with each passing day. We keep a close watch on every detail so your child stays safe while they explore.

A Look Inside our Preschool Room

How a typical day blends play, curiosity, and the skills that get your child ready for kindergarten.

Learning through their own play

Much of the day is open for children to create, pretend, and express themselves in their own way. This kind of self-directed play is doing real work, building the problem-solving, independence, and confidence your child will carry into kindergarten and beyond.

Questions that spark thinking

Throughout the day, your child will hear lots of open-ended questions. Rather than telling a child exactly how to do something, our teachers ask questions that invite them to decide for themselves, a small shift that builds creativity, language, and self-assurance.

Building school-ready skills

As your child plays, our teachers weave in the skills that prepare them for kindergarten: early language and math, hands-on science, and the social skills that come from learning together. It all happens through play, so getting ready for school feels like discovery rather than work.
